Stone Paper Technology — the material behind 3RBOX packaging
Stone paper material is typically made from calcium carbonate-based minerals combined with selected resin materials. Unlike wood-pulp paper, it does not rely on trees as the primary raw material. The formulation can be adjusted based on strength, flexibility, water resistance, and application needs.
What stone paper is made of
The primary raw material is calcium carbonate-based mineral — sourced from stone such as marble, calcite, coal gangue, quartz sand, and similar naturally available materials. Fine mineral powder is combined with resin binders (typically PE, PP, or PVC) to form a sheet material.
Typical composition: approximately 65%–80% mineral content and 20%–35% resin, depending on performance and application. This ratio can be tuned for strength, flexibility, printability, or regulatory needs.
The finished sheet is converted into stone paper rolls, then into corrugated sheets, and finally into finished corrugated boxes.

Why it works for wet and cold chain applications
Water-resistant by material
Mineral + resin composition does not disintegrate on contact with water like cellulose paper.
Moisture-stable
Holds structural integrity in refrigerated humidity, condensation, and long transit.
Application-tuned formulation
Ratio, thickness, and structure adjusted to your logistics environment.
