Star Incaran AC Milan and MU Mirip Ibrahimovic
Pietro Pellegri is one of the strikers who are now the center of attention in European competition. The 16-year-old is now the target of several top clubs, including AC Milan and Manchester United (MU).
However, to get this young star is not easy. Genoa, the club that currently owns Pellegri, are reported to have pegged the price of 40 million euros to their wonderkid.
Genoa knows clubs like AC Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea are closely monitoring their players.
AC Milan and MU claim to have held talks with Genoa. However, Beppe Riso, Pellegri’s agent, revealed that he has never been in touch with any club at this time.
“I’m not related to any club at the moment,” he said. “He is a very strong striker, he is similar to Ibrahimovic, he is definitely one of the best young players in Europe,” Riso said.
“He still has three years left in his contract and it’s not a surprise for me to see him linked to big clubs like PSG or AC Milan.”
Earlier, Genoa President Enrico Preziosi expressed interest in AC Milan at Pietro Pellegri. The 16-year-old has scored three goals for Genoa’s senior team.
Finally, he scored two goals against Lazio last weekend. Although the negotiation process did not get the spotlight from the media, Preziosi called AC Milan had chased Pellegri in the final minutes of the closing of the transfer market last summer.
“Milan are interested in the last day of the transfer window, and they have not given up on it yet, they are still interested in it,” Preziosi told Calciomercato.com on Friday (22/09/2017) local time.
